Episode 30. Cultivating a Culture of Generosity Through Marketing and Development - Our 2nd Home

In this episode, our guest, Fern Potter, gives us a deep dive into her career as a director of development and a marketing expert. Fern has worked with leading ballet companies such as The Birmingham Royal Ballet, as well as smaller, budding companies such as the New English Ballet Theater, all to be the guiding hand in teaching companies how to engage with their public and the support they need. Marketing can have a bad rep, as nothing more than companies trying to get your money. But according to Fern, it's about being passionate about your cause, truly believing in it, and inviting others to be a part of something special and something beautiful.- This podcast  is in collaboration with the Our2ndhome blog, which is dedicated to opening up theater doors through conversations with artists all around the world. For more info check out our website, https://our2ndhome.org/ , IG _our2ndhome or email us at oursecondhome2@gmail.com.
